At Inventio you find contemporary music of composers of the present. By producing, publicating and spreading sheet music we would like to support and initiate the accessibility and performance of contemporary works.

The artists and their works are located in the center of our efforts. The artists alone are responsible for all musical contents of our editions. Inventio makes no arbitrary or editorial madifications to the notation and considers all suggestions of the composers for an adequate music notation during the careful editorial. In order to express information, background and understanding of each work, we emphazise on placing a preface by the composer in front of each edition.



Quality

The music notation follows the classical and interantionally valid rules for notesetting. We have the goal to present the music in a customized way to the performing musicians so that the music can adequately be expressed. We pay attention to an overall balanced appearance and good places for turning pages.



Publishing On Demand

Our print office has high quality standards and prints with the most modern techniques of digital printing. Since we are concerned with very exclusive music literature most of the time, we usually print small editions only. Thereby, we produce no unnecessary surplus so the stock volume and storage costs are kept small. This also positively affects our pricing.



Environmental Awareness

We try to act ecologically and environmentally conscious within all parts of the music publishing house in order not to waste valuable resources. During production and printing, nonpolluting materials are used. No energies are wasted by working on small and virtual spaces.
